As part of the preparations for this unique event, we at Melzer & Hopfner have been working on a groundbreaking project.
As part of the new construction of the 12EUB Zwölfernordbahn, the ski connection between the 12er Nordhang and the Hochalm area will be made significantly more attractive in the first construction phase by means of a state-of-the-art ski bridge. The innovative, 80m-long bridge will play a key role in the 2025 World Championships by spanning the 12er Nordpiste via a cycle path, the Saalach and Glemmtalerstraße. Our engineers were responsible for the planning, submission, tendering and construction of this innovative ski bridge.
Our services at a glance:
- Study of variants
- Cable car planning
- Structural engineering planning and design
- Tender for ropeway technology and construction works
- Coordination of authorities
- Site management
Construction of the ski bridge began in August 2023 and went smoothly despite the extensive scope in the valley station area.
We are proud to bring our expertise and passion for innovative engineering to a project that is setting new standards not only in terms of the upcoming World Cup, but also in terms of future infrastructure and sustainability.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1701261303898{margin-top: 50px !important;margin-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”19185,19186,19189,19190″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
