01 Sep We take training into our own hands – Tamara starts her apprenticeship at Melzer & Hopfner
We – Melzer & Hopfner Ingenieurgesellschaft m.b.H & Co. KG – are actively addressing the prevailing shortage of skilled workers as usual. As of September 1, we will continue to operate under the new management of Johannes Thißen MSc. and Ing. Daniel Mangold will continue the successful tradition of apprentice training.
With Tamara Giselbrecht, we were able to recruit a young, motivated woman for the rather male-dominated ropeway industry. During her apprenticeship as a structural draughtswoman, Tamara will go through all the steps from the conception of projects to construction planning and foreman planning and will actively support us in the process.
As the ropeway planning office Melzer & Hopfner knows from its own experience, an apprenticeship is the start of a career in ropeway planning and the beginning of a promising and varied career.
Some of the most experienced employees at Melzer & Hopfner come from the company’s own apprenticeship program in the field of (construction) draughtsmanship and are still passionate about getting the best out of each project for our customers.
Daniel Mangold, Managing Director of Melzer & Hopfner Ingenieurgesellschaft m.b.H. & Co KG:
“Every day, our well-trained specialists work together with our visionary customers to ensure that the cable car plans form the foundation for fantastic tourism and future-oriented mobility solutions. The plans are the basis for comfortable, but also finely designed lifts with associated infrastructure to the most beautiful recreational areas for me – the mountains. With the help of cable cars, this beauty is made accessible to almost everyone in an environmentally friendly way without localCO2 emissions and thus serves the common good.
In this respect, it’s a great idea that drives us as an office every day to bring out the best in each project.
This is also part of our philosophy, which we live by in our team and goes hand in hand with the quote from Charles M. Schwab: “
He who works not for the love of the thing, but only for the sake of money, gets nothing: neither money nor happiness.”
With this in mind, we warmly welcome you – dear Tamara – to the Melzer & Hopfner team and wish you all the best and a wonderful, successful time with us.
