New Reiterkogelbahn 10-Seater Gondola Lift in Hinterglemm

With the new 10-seater gondola lift at Hinterglemm, one of the key infrastructure projects for the upcoming winter season is being realized within the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.

The new installation will replace the existing lift from 1997 and, in the future, operate in two sections extending to the Rosswald chairlift. This creates a significantly more efficient and future-oriented connection at Reiterkogel, enhancing comfort, efficiency, and the overall guest experience.

A particular highlight is the new second section, which will provide direct access all the way to the summit. With a transport capacity of up to 2,500 passengers per hour, the new lift ensures fast and comfortable uphill transportation.

The structural design also plays a central role in the project. Designed by Melzer & Hopfner, the station buildings combine modern ropeway infrastructure with a clear and reduced architectural language. Horizontal lines, generous glazing, and the careful integration into the alpine topography allow the buildings to blend naturally into the surrounding landscape while keeping technical operations and structural elements clearly visible.

With this development, Reiterkogel further strengthens its position as a versatile family mountain offering high-quality experiences in both summer and winter.
