Four million euros are being invested in the ski resort in Winterberg-Altastenberg. A new chairlift is being built for this purpose. The aim is to upgrade the ski area and make it more competitive.
It is the largest single investment in the Sauerland ski resorts to date and is intended to make the Altastenberg ski resort more attractive. Three local companies have invested in the multi-million euro project.
The ski resort is getting a new chairlift this year
Two outdated anchor lifts will be dismantled for the new four-seater chairlift. The modernization was necessary to make the Altastenberg ski resort competitive. The new four-seater chairlift in Altastenberg should be ready for use before the end of this year.
