Melzer & Hopfner has been active in the cable car industry for over 30 years and is known in the Alpine region as a professional partner for cable car and ski resort planning.
Willi Melzer and Edi Hopfner have decided to actively set the course for the future of the engineering office in the interests of an orderly handover and the preservation of the wealth of experience.
With Daniel Mangold and Johannes Thißen, two young successors have been found who together bring over 25 years of concentrated ropeway expertise. The previous field of activity at a renowned cable car manufacturer was characterised by independent project management for various cable car installations in Austria and Germany. In addition to mountain railway projects, she was also responsible for cable car concepts in urban environments.
In combination with the powerful and professionally organised team, this ensures that Melzer & Hopfner will continue to guarantee the usual outstanding quality in the future.
Willi Melzer and Edi Hopfner will therefore remain active in the company for the next few years and will actively support their successors with all their experience.
