01 Jan EMBARKING ON A NEW PHASE OF LIFE
Dear friends, colleagues and companions,
After 45 years in the ropeway industry, I have now almost reached the end of my long, interesting and extremely enjoyable professional life. It was a great pleasure for me to be able to advise the close-knit SEILBAHNER group for so many years. And if I have managed to make a small contribution here and there to the further development of winter tourism, I am all the more pleased.
Many great friendships have developed over the years – I will always remember many wonderful events. A big THANK YOU to you all for this.
So at the end of the year, I will be taking a step back and retiring. Of course, I will continue to support the Melzer & Hopfner team with advice and assistance in the future, and I will also remain available by telephone as before if required.
I am very proud that our successors Daniel Mangold and Johannes Thißen have made such a good and seamless transition and that they are both so committed to their new management tasks. At this point, I would ask you to continue to place your long-standing trust and loyalty in our successors without reservation. Thank you for that.
My long-time companion and office partner Edi Hopfner will remain with the company for some time as “Senior Consultant” and will contribute his decades of experience for the benefit of our customers.
Now I wish you and I that Covid will slowly but surely disappear from our minds and that we can seamlessly return to the old days.
