Following an intensive modernization phase, the Karren Cable Car Dornbirn has been successfully commissioned and is once again ready to welcome visitors. Melzer & Hopfner is proud to have significantly contributed to the modernization and to have successfully completed this ambitious project within the planned schedule and budget \u2013 a remarkable achievement during the short construction period from January to March 2025.<\/p>\n

The renovation involved not only an architectural redesign featuring a modern timber fa\u00e7ade, but also significant technical upgrades. One of the major challenges was the integration of the new control system and the optimization of the infrastructure to enable even more comfortable and efficient operations \u2013 all while coordinating up to 10 companies simultaneously within a 270 m\u00b2 area. <\/p>\n
