General planning by the engineering firm Melzer & Hopfner<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is one of the best and most modern ski resorts in the world.
\nFisser Bergbahnen GmbH is once again investing in the expansion of its facilities this year in order to continue to offer guests the highest level of comfort and quality.<\/p>\n

A new, ultra-modern 8-seater chairlift for the north side of Fiss was on the construction list for the 2020\/2021 season. This replaces the ageing Zw\u00f6lferbahn 4-seater chairlift. After a construction period of just 5 months, the new 12-passenger gondola lift received positive approval from the authorities on 24.11.2020, i.e. an operating permit from the Tyrolean cable car authority.
\nFor maximum comfort, the 8-seater chairs on the new Zw\u00f6lferbahn are equipped with heated seats and weather protection hoods. The child safety lock also ensures that even the youngsters can get up the mountain safely. The new system increases the conveying capacity from the previous 1800 p\/h to 3000 p\/h, which will significantly reduce waiting times in the future.<\/p>\n

The valley station of the Zw\u00f6lferbahn will be moved slightly during the new construction. It will now be located between Zirbenh\u00fctte and Sch\u00f6ngampalm. This means that the lifts and slopes on the north side of Fiss are better connected. The mountain station remains unchanged in the area of the ridge descent at the Zw\u00f6lfer downhill run and the black Zw\u00f6lfer-Sportiv piste. The high-capacity railroad thus significantly enhances the north side of Fiss. Both the stations and the cable car technology impress with their elegant design and have been perfectly coordinated.<\/p>\n
